Two more mandalas are on the back burner !!!!

I have 2 more mandalas on-the-go......" Downsview " and " Yonge and Lawrence ", which I will add to, on a daily basis.
I have done all my research and have all my plans worked out.

Wow, Toronto really has some brave pioneers who struggled so hard to lay a foundation for us !
It' s wonderful to read about them and try to imagine how they survived under such conditions.

Olde Town New

" Olde Town New " will be the name of my latest mandala which is now in progress.
It will include places dating back to 1793 and right up to the present.
Ways of living are also being noted in various forms throughout the life of this area.

The mandala will have a treasure hunt for the very observant viewer.
I' ve been working on it every day and it is gradually appearing ready to show.

Keep track as I follow through with this one !

My target completion date is  October 31, 2010.

Olde Town Toronto/The Distillery/Corktown

Well, it's time to head south east to the area of Toronto which was originally called The Town of York.
When one looks at the old map of 1793, it seems to be one of Lilliput or one that may have been found by a pirate in a treasure chest.  Where is the treasure ?
Where is the treasure buried in Toronto ?

In my blog I will continue to briefly outline my inspiration and evolution in
as I travel  through these "Mandala Journeys ".

It was written on October 1, 2010......

****** However, it seems that the file was removed.
I checked today, June 6, 2012, and the link no longer works.
